Welcome To The Serenity Letter

As-salamu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

I'm so glad this letter has found its way to you.

Some of you have been connected to Guided Serenity for quite some time. Some of you may have found your way here more recently through Before You Scroll Again. And for some, it may simply have been a while since an email from me appeared in your inbox.

Whichever it is — welcome, or welcome back.

I have been thinking intentionally about what I want this email space to become. Because if I am going to enter your inbox, I don't want to simply add another email for you to scroll past.

I want to create something worth opening.

And that is why I created The Serenity Letter.

The Serenity Letter is a faith-centred space for the woman navigating real life while still wanting to grow closer to Allah, become more intentional about how she lives, and make meaningful progress in the things that matter to her.

Here, we will talk about faith and everyday life. About personal and spiritual growth. About purpose, productivity and barakah. About the responsibilities we carry, the seasons that stretch us, the habits that shape us, and the small decisions that quietly influence the women we are becoming.

There will be moments when I invite you to slow down and reflect. Other times, I may challenge you to look at something differently or take a practical step forward. I'll share thoughtful reflections, coaching insights, beneficial resources, lessons from the work I do, and occasionally opportunities, programmes and experiences from Guided Serenity that I believe may genuinely serve you.

But I want this space to remain human — not another place where you are constantly being told to do more, achieve more, become more.

Sometimes growth looks like movement.

Sometimes it looks like clarity.

Sometimes it is learning to manage our time, energy and responsibilities more intentionally.

And sometimes it is recognising that what our heart needs most is to return to Allah.

That intersection between faith, personal development and intentional living is very close to the work I do.

As a Life Coach, Author, Public Speaker and Productive Muslim Certified Trainer, I have had the privilege of teaching, facilitating, mentoring and creating spaces where women can pause, reflect, learn and move forward with greater clarity and purpose. The Serenity Letter is another extension of that work — delivered quietly to your inbox.

And I don't want this to be a one-way conversation.

There are real women behind these email addresses, with real responsibilities, questions, dreams, struggles, and different seasons of life. I want what I share here to speak to those realities.

So as we begin, I have one question for you:

What is one area of your life in which you would genuinely love more support, clarity, or growth right now?

You can simply hit reply and tell me. One sentence is enough.

I will be reading your responses, and they will help me understand what would make these letters genuinely beneficial to the women receiving them.

In shā' Allāh, the next email you receive from me will be the first proper edition of The Serenity Letter.

Not an announcement. Not a sales email. A letter.

Something to pause with, reflect on, and hopefully carry with you long after you close your inbox.

Until then, I pray Allah places barakah in this little community we are building, makes what is shared here beneficial, and allows it to be a means of growth, clarity, and goodness for all of us.

Thank you for being here.

With love and du‘a,

THE SERENITY LETTER | NO. 08 When Growth Looks Quieter Than You Expected As-salām ʿalaykum, Recently, I found myself thinking about how differently I understand growth now compared with a few years ago. There was a time when I associated growth with something I could clearly see. A new opportunity. A completed project. A successful programme. More people responding to my work. Something moving forward in a way that made me feel, yes, I'm making progress. But the more I try to become...

THE SERENITY LETTER | NO. 07 What If the Du‘a Is Asking Something of You Too? There are things I have been asking Allah for for a long time. Some are connected to my work and the kind of impact I hope to make. Some have to do with growth, purpose, direction, and the person I hope to become. And then there are the du‘as I don't talk about at all—the ones that simply belong between me and Allah. I think most of us have prayers like that. The ones we return to in sujood, the ones that follow us...

THE SERENITY LETTER | NO. 06 Some Things Take Longer Than You Thought As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, There are a few things in my life that I thought I would have figured out by now. Some goals I expected to reach sooner. Some things I thought would be easier by this stage of my life. And there have been times when I've looked at how long something was taking and wondered whether I was doing something wrong. I think we become used to attaching timelines to things, even when...
